Devlog 09: Now we can talk about U & I


Introduction

Hey everybody, we're back again with a bunch of changes and improvements.

Lets take a look at the-

Art

This week our main menu took it's (almost) final form:


Our rule board also had an overhaul. It now displays the actual game rules instead of being a placeholder:


Our animations have also made it in. We also attached the hat so the animation moves it with:


The gun is not attached yet.

We added some snow to better fit the cold aesthetic that our game is built around.




We also gathered a bunch of sound files to add some spice to the game. For the moment those are only partially implemented.

Lets now move on to the-

Development

We have a round timer! 


After the time is up, a round end menu appears with the ending stats of the game:


Our main menu also works with proper input:


You can also select your hat before the game starts! 

Duplicate hats not allowed - you wont be able to start the game other vise.


Cacti hurt you if you hit them, no camping!⛺

Contracts are now weighted too so the player with the most coins has the most chance of being the next contract! ;)

Next week we clean the kitchen with what time is left. By the end of it the game will be completely done.
